Blueberries with Greens
A salad full of the flavours of summer.
Here, a combination of fruit, green leaves, herbs, nuts and cheese that provide a light, tasty salad and meal. Quick to prepare while appearing a special dish.
Vary the ingredients to suit; seasonal availability, taste preferences, dietary requirements and to use the odd remains of baked and salad veggies. Chop, slice and grate to provide visual and texture variety throughout.
Ingredients

100 gm (2/3 cup) blueberries
20 gm (2 tbsp) almonds
30 gm (1 oz) blue cheese
1 tbsp chives, chopped
1 small bunch watercress
vinaigrette (optional)
Method
WASH berries and salad greens.
PLATE the greens and top with other ingredients.
DRIZZLE over vinaigrette.
Serve
