The Energy of Spring
In Traditional Chinese Medicine, spring is the optimal time to set new goals, redefine boundaries, and renew your intentions.
I have been doing the spring cleaning, clearing thing. It is now time to move from the physical clearing to the mental. The weekend is a perfect time for me to stop, reflect and realign my goals, in the deep hope that when the sun and summer warmth do arrive I will greet them with a renewed sense of commitment.
When was the last time you sat in silence and allowed yourself to simply reflect… no agenda?
If you set aside time for introspection here are a few prompts:
What lights you up?
What have learned that will help you blossom, with the new season?
How can you give back to the land & your community in a way that allows you to prosper?
Building Better Bones
Have you ever wanted to go to Africa?
If YES to any of these check the details of my offering. Reach out to learn more, I love talking about Africa and Zambia in particular.
Sight - what am I seeing?
Smell - what I am smelling?
I am savouring the fragrances of the numerous blossoms that are out. I particularly love the smells of the bush at this time of year and after rain WOW
Sound - what I am listening to?
Taste - what I am eating?
Touch - what am I feeling?
10 minute oil massage of my head and hair every week. Head massages feel great and it supports hair growth. My thick head of hair had thinned, not what I wanted. A couple of months of this massage, a traditional Ayurveda practice and my hair is regrowing :)
I have been using Organic Argan Oil (Argan tree and nuts are indigenous to Morocco and Algeria). Any pure oil will be good, traditionally castor oil has been used. Add some rosemary to the oil for fragrance and to support hair growth.
